The last oufit of 2009

So this is my Mom's favorite dress which I have the honor of wearing.

And the "price tags," and "brooches," were inspired by a certain outfit on the runway.

And I was planning on wearing my happy newyear tiara, but it's broken and I couldn't find a stapler. So I just wore this hat.

Yeah, this is an old photo of it. Now I just have a party to go to! I hope everyone has a happy newyear, and by that I mean don't get drunk at a party and kill yourself or anybody else driving home. L<3VED

Thank you for being even slower than usual dear computer.

This is from Tuesday: Mom's shiny yellow vest.

my map scarf<3 I should have used flash..

My Mom's old pin that she gave to me. I think it's beautiful.

Today's outfit:

I made the read think when I was in...elementary school? I think?
And the little bitty people are actually on a hair barret but it kept braking so I attached it to the necklace.

Oh yes! And I found this wonderful belt at the thrift store. Sadly, it's closing today.

Dreams of summer. And the BEACH!

The shirt and the no L pin are my Mom's.
Doesn't the pattern make you want to go someplace warm? Like the beach! Well, that and the cold wether.

Peacock vintage spread.

Pretty pink vintage spread. I think it's my most successful "photo" so far.

okay, so finally, an outfit!

I wore these in the morning
and these at night. They are scarfs!

to those of you who wake up in the morning and thing "I must go see what Ed is wearing today,"

I'm sorry I haven't been posting. I've been too lazy to take outfit photos. I was also busy taking these:

I love vintage looking everything, and I fully intended these photos to look pretty.

Ahh yes, and these were part of my outfit yesterday. They are my Moms and I love them!
I have also noticed a few items in my mother's closet that I have not stolen yet. Fear not, I shall rob her soon... (only it's not really stealing because I have permission)

They stick and stay and then lift away for non-stop play!

Happy Friday!

Oh, yes, and it's also Christmas! Merry Christmas! Isn't it great to be able to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our savior? This is my outfit from yesterday. We celebrate Christmas at our cousin's house with our relitives on Christmas Eve.
And guess what I'm doing right now! I'm making a turtle out of bendaroos.

They are actually quite fun, thank you very much.

I hape you all have a holly, jolly Christmas! L<3VED

I got my permit today!

So according to Todd, my outfit was more normal today. How insulting. I am not a setting on a washing machine.
Having said that, I feel I should explain my personal feelings about the way I dress.
I am a shy, quite person most of the time, who gets yelled at in drama class for not projecting. When I wear clothes that are sort of "out there," I feel like I'm projecting. I feel like, if I'm too shy to say something, then my clothes will just make the statement for me.

So sometimes when I feel like just an "average joe," or I just want to fit in (ick) I'll be simple: t-shirt, scarf, jeans boots, necklace:bam! normal! Average! Look at me and snore. clone.

Sometimes, I'll dress "out there," I'm being loud, fun to be around, smile at me, I'll show you a good time.

I'll sometimes dress sweet, pink skirt, botton down shirt, I'm the good girl, behiving right, being a lady, I'll talk about Jane Austin with you.

Then sometimes, I feel old, and I don't care how I look, and you'll see me in a semi decent outfit.

I think that sums it up, just thought I'd post that, it seems that every fashion blogger has a reason for the way they dress, and I just wanted to share mine.
And yes, great outfits start great conversations. If I'm too shy to introduce myself, I use my outfits to give people a reason to talk to me.

"do you have a big closet," "no, I share a room with my sister," "you have a lot of clothes,"

Silly drivers ed instructor, I don't have lots of clothes, I just know how to wear them. Actually...I do have a lot of clothes:b

So the scarf wasn't really meant to be part of the outfit, it just sort of happened.

Oh yes, and we went to the zoo.

Also, I was origanlly wearing the tights and mocks, but when I heard we were going to the zoo, I layered the leggings and socks on.
